Men’s Work Uniforms

If you’ve got a job that requires you to be primarily outside, your work wardrobe and regular wardrobe are probably very different. Though men’s work uniforms have gotten much nicer over the years, after wearing something all day outside, it’s probably the last thing you want to wear for a while.

T-shirts need to be breathable and durable. Work shirts take much more of a rugged wear than regular clothing does, and needs to be able to sustain those conditions. Carhartt work clothing has always been one of the most durable brands available for workers today. The K299 short sleeve work dry t-shirt is perfect for guys working out in the summer sun. The fabric itself wicks away moisture and sweat and has an anti-odor treatment. Your co-workers will like this shirt, too. This shirt is available in a few colors as well, so workers can wear it frequently for jobs that take longer to complete.

Pants for work depend mostly on the type of work being done. A nice pair of straight leg jeans or khaki colored pants would best suit less invasive jobs. Dickies and Carhartt make a wide variety of work pants available in shades of khaki or brown. Both of these are made for work environments.

Boots are also part of nearly any uniform. Steel toe inserts among other safety amenities make them an essential for every worker. Ankle support and increased traction are just a few of the areas a pair of boots can help with. Also, when purchasing pants as part of a uniform, make sure the leg opening will fit smoothly over the top of your boots. Most pants that are made for workers will, but some of the narrower cut jeans may have an issue.
